Australia's queen of interior design, Shaynna Blaze, alongside former-The Block contestants Michael and Carlene Duffy, will headline the Everleigh Block Party this Saturday, to officially unveil south east Queensland's newest builder display village at the Everleigh development in Greenbank.

Both Shaynna and Carlene will be running styling workshops as part of the street-party style event happening this Saturday at Everleigh, which is being developed by publicly-listed group Mirvac.

There will be a host of entertainment for the whole family from 11am to 4pm, including treasure hunts, giant games, Lego building, mini train rides, face painting, balloon twisting and even a science show complete with slime making.

Those who attend will not go hungry with food trucks serving up delicious dishes, topped off with popcorn and fairy floss, which can all be enjoyed while listening to live music.

The Everleigh Block Party will celebrate the official opening of 16 new display homes by 10 of Queensland's leading builders including Porter Davis, Bold Living, Clarendon, Coral, Plantation, GJ Gardner, DBC, Brighton, Metricon and Neptune.

Mirvac General Manager, Residential Development Queensland, Warwick Bible, said the whole community was invited to join in the celebrations.

"Shaynna is involved in some of Australia's favourite real estate television programs, from The Block to Selling Houses Australia and Buying Blind, so it is a coup to have her here at Everleigh in Greenbank and sharing her knowledge with locals," he said.

"Likewise, Carlene has become a well-known face around Everleigh, fresh off styling one of our homes with a 'luxe for less' look, she'll be sharing even more tips on how to create an interior design to complement a new home, with Michael also on hand to chat to visitors.

"We'll be throwing open the doors to all the display homes, which cover a variety of styles and budgets, meaning there is a design to suit a diverse mix of new homebuyers - and a price to match."

Mr Bible said the youngest members of the family would not miss out, with entertainment to delight those of all ages.

"There are workshops in each of the homes, which span from a barbeque demonstration to a bath bomb workshop, to a chocolate fondue station and Lego-making," he said.

"Out in the street, there will be a DJ, live music, reptile and magic shows, slime and sherbet making and other games, so the day will have a real party atmosphere.

"We want visitors to get a glimpse of what life in Everleigh is like - with our vision to create the type of community where neighbours meet and mingle in the street and form life-long friendships. We have a regular calendar of events, from coffee catch-ups to boot camps and movie nights, to foster this sense of community."

The Everleigh Block Party will run from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 19 October, at Everleigh - Kessels Boulevard in Greenbank.  For more information and a full program of events, visit everleigh.mirvac.com/display-village
