EVERLEIGH'S GREEN HEART - SPACES TO ENJOY NOW AND IN THE FUTURE
Everleigh's commitment to providing green spaces and outdoor amenities is a key factor that sets our masterplanned community apart, with access to nature essential for the well-being and lifestyle of our residents and wider local community.
Here’s a snapshot of the outdoor spaces already open for you to enjoy, along with exciting updates on what’s in store at Everleigh this year (2023) and beyond.
Outdoor spaces to enjoy now:
Leaf Park
Leaf Park has something to offer outdoor enthusiasts of all ages, featuring two multi-purpose sports walls complete with basketball hoops and soccer goals, a five-way swing system, four-tower playground, and modern fitness equipment. This park is also popular with children who enjoy riding scooters, skateboards, and bikes around the surrounding pathways.
Everleigh Park
Our award-winning Everleigh Park is the perfect place for group activities or family and friends looking to spend quality time together. The park's amenities include a junior playground, climbing nets, bubblers, toilets, barbeque shelters and a community events lawn, set amidst lush surroundings providing an ideal spot for relaxation, adventure, and leisure.
Both parks are also well known for their population of magical Elves, with 17 enchanted doors hidden throughout Everleigh Park, Leaf Park and our community garden laneway for visitors to discover. Only a select few know their whereabouts - see if you can join this exclusive group!
Linear Parks, Laneways and Bikeways
The community is the heart of Everleigh, and our linear parks, laneways and bikeways are the veins that connect residents from their homes to our green spaces and amenities, including Everleigh State School. Our paths and trails have been designed cohesively and will connect to 148 hectares of conservation bushland, so the beauty of the surrounding environment can be appreciated and maintained while walking, running or cycling in our community.
What’s to come:
Everleigh AFL Oval
Local sports fans can look forward to the opening of our $10 million Everleigh AFL Oval, featuring a full-sized field and warm-up oval, with plans in the works for a clubhouse. Developed in collaboration with Logan City Council and AFL Queensland, this 5.5-hectare state-of-the-art facility is the first stage of a 25-hectare sport and recreation precinct that will greatly enhance health and fitness, and improve access to sport, in the area. Construction is well underway with the facility expected to be completed in late 2023.
Off-leash Dog Park
As part of Everleigh’s sports and recreation precinct, residents and local pooch owners will soon be able to enjoy our community's first off-leash Dog Park. Your furry family members will have the chance to stretch their legs and play with other dogs, with a designated space for both small and large dogs to enjoy off-leash. Construction of the Dog Park is expected to commence in the coming months, with completion anticipated in late 2023.
Additional Parklands to be Delivered As our community continues to develop, more green spaces will be delivered alongside upcoming releases. Projects in the pipeline include Everleigh’s spectacular Hero Park, Southern Park, smaller neighbourhood parks and a new Wetlands precinct, which will further connect our growing community to playgrounds, recreational areas and conservation areas.
The Southern Sports field, an extension to the first stage of our sports and recreation precinct - Everleigh AFL oval, is also in planning and will be delivered as the project progresses, opening up further access to sporting activities at Everleigh.
A cornerstone of our Everleigh community is easy access to green amenities for all our residents as we grow. To keep up to date with all available and upcoming green amenities, visit our website at https://everleigh.mirvac.com/ and follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
